Pajottenland and the Day of the Old Geuze

Day One

Collection at 7am from Kew Gardens Underground and Overground station.

Crossing via Eurotunnel we travel to Izegem and *Brouwerij Rodenbach for a tour and a beer tasting. After we head straight to Izzegem to have lunch at Brouwerij D’Oude Maalderij, and take the opportunity to taste Jef’s amazing beers. Following the tour we move on to our hotel in Halle.

Day two

We will spend a day in Pajottenland visiting *Brouwerij Lindeman , moving on to Oud Beersel for lunch. We finish the day at Drie Fonteinen Lambik-o-droom.

Day three

After breakfast we head over to *Brouwerij Boon for a tour and then return to Halle and visit the 14th edition of the Dag Van de Oude Geuze. In the evening there is an optional beer-pairing dinner at the famed Les Eleveurs restaurant with beers selected by acclaimed Maitre Sommelier Andy de Brouwer.

Day Four

On Sunday we head out into Pajottenland where we will visit some local cafes and visit *Oude Geuzestekerij De Cam and In De Verzekering Tegen de Grote Dorst in Eizeringen, awarded best beer bar in the world for the past 5 years.

Day five

We’ll drive out to Anzegem and visit the team at Brouwerij t’Verzet before stopping nearby for some lunch. We will then make our way back to the *Eurotunnel and our homeward journey to London.
