Private Group Beer Tastings
AleHunters are delighted to work in partnership with The Kernel in Bermondsey to deliver tutored beer tastings within their brewery taproom. Tastings can be scheduled from Monday to Thursday, subject to the taproom availability. Guests will receive sensory beer tasting training and will be guided through a range of five different beer styles all produced within the iconic London brewery.
Founded in 2009 by Evin O’Riordain The Kernel is the original brewery on Bermondsey’s famous ‘beer mile’. It is also one of London’s first craft breweries, inspiring many of the other 130 breweries that have been launched in the past 15 years. Known for its high quality, The Kernel produces a range of styles from their iconic table beer to lagers, pale ales, IPAs, porters and stouts and their impressive mixed fermentation farmhouse ales.
Tasting at the Kernel
Our corporate tasting events are designed for the beer-curious and can include a tour of the brewhouse if desired during your tutored beer tasting with accredited Beer Sommelier and Certified Cicerone® Paul. You will learn how to taste beer like a pro and understand the history behind the beer styles that you are tasting. The brewing process will be explained and you will be given a clear understanding of the brews from grain to glass.
Prices are based upon number of guests and require a minimum of 20 up to a maximum of 100. Should you wish to organise food for your group this is no problem.

50-100 £38 per head
