Beautiful Bruges and the Kerstbier festival

Day One

Collection at 7am from Kew Gardens Underground and Overground station.

Crossing via *Eurotunnel we head straight to Bruges and check-in at the *Hotel Floris. After dropping off our bags we will make our way to the *Brouwerij De Halve Maan for a brewery tour and beer tasting in their cellars.

Day two

We will spend a day out near Kortrijk visiting *Brouwerij ‘t Verzet and *Brasserie de Ranke, stopping for lunch in between.

Day three

After breakfast we make our way to Essen, north of Antwerp where we will spend the day at the annual *Kerstbier festival. If you are a member of CAMRA please bring your card as you will receive a free beer token.

Day Four

On Sunday we take a leisurely drive to Vleteren to visit *De Struise Brouwers. After a quick lunch we then move on to Esen to visit *De Dolle Brouwers, home of the legendary Kerstbier Stille Nacht.

Day five

We’ll drive out to Watou and visit *Brouwerij St Bernardus where they produce my favourite Kerstbier before making our way back to the *Eurotunnel and our homeward journey to London.
