Flanders and the North Sea Beer Festival

Day One

Collection at 7am from Kew Gardens Underground and Overground station.

Crossing via Eurotunnel we head straight to our base in Bruges. After check-in we will head to Brouwerij De Halve Maan* for a tour and a special tasting.

Day two

After breakfast we take in an early morning tour at *Brouwerij Bourgogne des Flandres. We will then spend the rest of the day day in Izegem visiting *Brouwerij D’Oude Maalderij stopping for lunch in Jef’s Biercafe before moving on to *Brouwerij Van Honsebrouck.

Day three

After breakfast we may our way to Ostend, where we will spend the day at the annual *North Sea Beer festival and a visit to the *Stadsbrouwrij ‘t Koelschip.

Day Four

On Sunday we take a leisurely drive to Vletern to visit *In De Vrede and sample some Westvleteren beer. After a quick lunch we then move on to Esen to visit *De Dolle Brouwers, home of the legendary Oerbier. Finally, we move on to Watou for a tour of the famous Brouwerij St Bernardus.

Day five

We’ll drive out to Azegem and visit *Brouwerij ‘t Verzet to view their new brewery and take in a legendary tasting before making our way back to the *Eurotunnel and our homeward journey to London.
